Adorn, Featured by Gensler

A modern, collaborative destination for design in downtown Denver

A feature that captures the heart of Adorn

Some spaces are built to sell product. Others are built to spark something. When Gensler published a dedicated project page on Adorn, it felt like a moment worth celebrating because it captures what we have always hoped this space would do: connect people through design, not just display it.

Adorn was created to be a place where inspiration is tangible. You can hold it, layer it, rearrange it, and then talk about it with someone who sees what you see. Gensler’s write-up puts language around that intention and we are incredibly grateful for the recognition.

Designed for connection, not just display

Gensler frames the challenge in a way we deeply relate to: the “final details” are where design becomes complete, but true design excellence is also about how a space brings people together. Adorn set out to celebrate creativity, encourage connection, and fill a real need in Denver’s design scene.

That mission has shaped every choice. Not just what the space looks like, but how it behaves when people walk in, pause, browse, gather, and return.

A milestone moment for Adorn

Gensler brought Adorn’s vision to life with a layout designed to flex with the rhythm of real life. A series of arches anchors the architecture and creates a warm, multipurpose environment. Modular displays make it easy to shift between showcasing objects, hosting workshops, or building cozy seating moments that invite people to stay.

The result is a space that is both retail and something more. It is 2,800 square feet of possibility in the heart of downtown Denver.

Project highlights (per Gensler)

The impact of finishing touches shows up quickly, especially in shared or guest-facing spaces.

  • 2,800 sq ft retail space in downtown Denver
  • Flexible layout and modular spatial planning
  • Modular designs with interchangeable elements
  • Lighting designed as atmosphere
  • Red List Free material approach
  • A unique brand identity brought to life through interior and architectural design

Designing for the in-between moments

Gensler describes Adorn as a creative hub that blends personalized styling services with a curated mix of iconic accessories and locally made art. They also call out what matters most to us: it is more than a shop. It is a place where events, workshops, and casual gatherings strengthen the design community.

That is the heartbeat of Adorn. When retail is paired with real relationships, the space becomes a living part of the city’s creative culture.

“Your team didn’t just design a place. You helped design a business.”

— Rick Golden, Chief Revenue Officer, WR

Come see it in person

If you have visited before, you know the feeling. If you have not, consider this your invitation. Stop in, explore, gather, and let the space do what it was designed to do: inspire connection.
